Prenatal Bonding & Therapy
The parent-infant relationship begins at conception. My goal when working with pregnant families is to lay the ground work to have positive relationships for life. We will begin to create this bond by diving deep into your relationship with yourself, your partner, and your baby through developing parental, self-understanding and engaging in tangible activities to promote bonding. We will establish protective relationships within the family through identifying and healing parental past wounds. Further exploring parental attitudes, attributes, fears, and fantasies about this baby including how previous pregnancies, births, and children may impact these thoughts. Becoming a parent, whether this is your first or tenth baby, is an exciting time where new identities emerge, views of your parenting partner shift, and parenting-alliances can be established.

Postpartum Bonding & Therapy
Let's celebrate your, your partner's, and your infant's strengths while exploring the complications and difficulties of pregnancy and the birthing process! Bringing a new life into the family brings so much joy yet challenges to a family. During postpartum therapy, we will work together to develop and establish self-care, mood management, and nervous system regulation techniques. Learn tangible activities to enhance the parent-infant relationship during sessions with the parent and infant. With this newfound relationship, reminders of parental past wounds may be brought to the surface. We will work together to identify these reminders and redirect negative emotions from the infant to the original reminder.
